This policy explains how VoltedgeElectric (Pty) Ltd (“VoltedgeElectric”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website or services. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

- Job details: the service you need and anything you tell us about the job.
- Financial information needed to invoice you and receive payment.
- Technical data that browsers send automatically, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, kept in standard server logs for security.
3. How we use it
- To respond to enquiries, give quotes and deliver our services.
- To send service updates about work you’ve asked us to do.
- To send occasional news or offers, only if you agree. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep our website secure and improve our services.
- To meet our legal obligations and protect against legal claims.
4. Website quote form
When you send the quote form, we store your request in our website system and email it to our team. Requests are deleted automatically after 12 months unless we need them for an ongoing job or a legal reason. The form uses no tracking cookies and no third-party spam services.
5. Cookies
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set essential cookies for logged-in staff. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
6. Sharing your information
We share personal information only where needed: with service providers who act for us (such as website hosting, email and payment processing) under confidentiality obligations; when the law requires it; or as part of a sale or merger of our business. We never sell your personal information.
